Vegas Group Leaders Discuss Heat Effects and Health

Reno and Las Vegas temperatures are rising faster than anywhere else in the country.  Heat waves are uncomfortable, but also dangerous to our health.

CCL Vegas member Dr. Jacob Altholz and Group Leader Dr. Joanne Leovy will be discussing the health effects of excess heat for the Southern Nevada group of the Sierra Club.  They will review some of the health effects of excessive heat, discuss the inequity of this climate change effect, and explore possible solutions to help Nevadans cope with heat effects.
